From oceans to mountains - 80 cm show jumping by fujoshiprincess From oceans to mountains - 80 cm show jumping by fujoshiprincess

Horse: 9143 - Tamale |5 years
Rider: Eli Haydens | 17years
Country: Norway
Discipline: 80 cm show jumping

Story:
(550 words)
It was a nice clear morning, and the horses were out in on the field. It had been snowing during the night, so about 10 cm of snow covered everything in a white blanket. Andrew had already arrived at the stable and fed the horses, so Eli didn't have to do anything else but get ready for the show jumping contest. This would be her first real contest, and she could hardly wait for it to get started. Andrew waved to her when she entered the stables.
"I got all the tack ready for you, I think it will suit Tamale really well."
Eli was grateful for all the work Andrew did for her and the horses. This would have taken such a long time without him. He had laid out a black halter, her normal saddle and Shabrack.
"You can borrow my leg protectors and wool voilock, I'm not joining the show jumping anyway."
Andrew wasn't that much of a jumper, he left those things to Eli.
"Awesome! Thank you!"
Eli grabbed a lead rope and walked out to the pasture to get Tamale inside and get her ready. A lot of people had already started to meet up with their own horses.
"Come here girl, are you ready?"
Tamale nodded her head. Eli had been brushing her for probably hours yesterday, getting all the dirt away, so it wouldn't take too long to get her ready today. Eli tied Tamale up in the crosstie and started brushing her. Tamale seemed extra energetic today, and she moved around in the ties, looking around at all the other horses and whinnying.
"Relax girl, it's just other others."
Eli laughed and picked up her hooves to clean them. After that is was time to put on the equipment. Eli spent some extra time on that so get everything right. She didn't want anything too loose or tight during the competition. Lastly she checked the shoes and studs, they were all still on, but she tightened them just to be sure.
"Don't forget yourself now.."
Andrew gave Eli her helmet, and laughed a little. Eli was so good with taking care of the horses, but she sometimes forgot about herself. She would probably live in her in stable if he didn't tell her to go home and get some sleep.
"Oh yes! The helmet."
Eli put it on and tightened it under her chin.
"Go get them!"
Eli smiled and led Tamale outside, mounting her. She went to the field where they had made a warm-up area. They had only one real arena at mountain streams stable, so they had to be a bit creative with warm-up areas. Tamale went perfectly over the obstacles, and then the speaker called the number before hers, and she walked up to the gate, waiting for her turn.
"You can do this."
Eli whispered, more to herself than to Tamale.
"Next up is Eli Haydens riding Tamale!"
Eli bit her teeth together and cantered out into the arena. The snow was crisp under the hooves, and the sun shining from the skies. She felt the rhythm of the hoof beats, leading Tamale towards the first obstacle, legs lifting from the ground, her body working under her, fresh wind in her face. She could do this forever!

Ooh what a fanastic perspective, really nice choice! You did a great job drawing the jump correctly as well, in the proper perspective - that's not so easy :la:
